i realise, the art of letting go

came as i accepted,

i still choose you (always)

and

you never will

for you are my joy, beautifully wrapped in pain,

you never will.

this separation - bitter

like all other lifetimes* - cruel

you survived

a bond forever,

a promise broken,

you, i and the universe
